This Privacy Policy describes how Holding SMG LLC ("CleanCompare", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and quote comparison service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who We Are
CleanCompare is a free quote comparison service operated by Holding SMG LLC. We connect businesses looking for commercial cleaning services with independent, third-party cleaning companies ("Partners"). We are not a cleaning company and do not perform cleaning services ourselves.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a quote request, we collect the information you enter in our form, which may include: your name, company name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, facility type, facility size, and desired cleaning frequency.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address (used to pre-fill your ZIP code), browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. We may use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To match your quote request with cleaning companies serving your area and facility type;
- To share your request with matched Partners so they can contact you with quotes (see Section 4);
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To communicate with you about your request;
- To measure and improve our marketing and advertising;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How We Share Your Information
With matched Partners. This is the core of our Service: when you submit a quote request, we share the information in your request (including your name, company, contact details, and facility details) with a limited number of cleaning companies matched to your request — typically up to five (5). These Partners may contact you by phone, email, or text message to provide quotes and discuss your request. Each Partner is an independent business responsible for its own use of your information and its own privacy practices.
With service providers. We use third-party providers for hosting, analytics, form processing, and communications. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Holding SMG LLC, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Holding SMG LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or share it with parties other than those described above.
5. Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting a quote request, you expressly consent to be contacted by CleanCompare and by up to five (5) matched Partners at the phone number and email address you provided, including by phone calls, emails, and text messages relating to your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may ask any Partner to stop contacting you at any time, and you may contact us to withdraw your consent.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (including Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tools) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the performance of our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
7. Data Retention
We retain quote request information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 9).
8. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Because our Service involves sharing your request with matched Partners, you may opt out of such sharing by not submitting a request, or exercise your rights at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 11. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and deletion: you may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us (Section 11);
- Opt out of communications: you may unsubscribe from our emails at any time via the link in each email, and ask any Partner directly to stop contacting you;
- Cookies: you can manage cookies in your browser settings.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
